Self Challenge Kick Off

Okay, so the Self Challenge started yesterday. I hope you're all excited. The workouts don't seem bad at all, just 3 days of 25 min of cardio and 2 days of 10 min of strength training. Since I accomplished my goal of getting into an exercise habit with our last 8 weeks of working out, this time I plan to focus on my eating habits. I think that's what's holding me back.

Here's my workout plan for the week:
Sun: none
Mon: none
Tues: Zumba
Wed: 10 min strength
Thurs: walk/jog 25 min
Fri: walk/jog 25 min; 10 min strength
Sat: none

my question is what is zumba?? i need more strength...i'm doing real well with cardio and weights but when i did the exercises on the strength video...i had a real hard time...so that's what i will be working on.

dude, I dont even want to talk about my eating...that is so what is holding me back! I think it may be cheese in particular...I love it and really need to cut back! And portion control is probably the second issue....help! what is zumba? sounds fun!

Well, I have had my share of difficulties with this lifestyle change but I think I am getting back on track. It is way to early in the game for any of us to be giving up (Shannon)! We are going to be supermodels so we have to keep going and kick some fat girl booty!

so how is everyone's self challenge going?? well, i found out that my cholestoral is up...can you beleive that!!! so i figure it's the cheese, half n half in the coffee and peanut butter...the only three naughty things i eat and they come against me...crap-i'll be eating air soon!! i'm still waiting for the magazine...which will help me on weekends while i'm at my dad's. he lives out in the country so i can do some of the exercises on his front porch and won't feel like an idiot! and what is zumba linz!!!
