Happy Thanksgiving!

Eric is busy preparing Thanksgiving turkey. yum yum! Those of you who have not experienced Eric's delicious Thanksgiving turkey are really missing out. He also makes amazing wild rice stuffing and muscat and dried fruit gravy. This year I am in charge of green bean casserole, sweet potatoe casserole and pumpkin pie.
I have mapped out my shopping strategy for tomorrow. Top things to get are christmas presents (I don't want to ruin any surprises so no hints as to what those things are), a steam cleaner, possibly a gliding rocking chair and of course a stop at Joann's. Should be fun! Usually I just go to the store and shop for hours, but due to being pregnant/hip hurting I had to figure out a strategy this year.

The other plan for the day is to drag out all the christmas stuff and figure out what I need to pick up tomorrow morning so we can decorate the house tomorrow. We're changing our Christmas theme this year since we bought a real sized tree last year. However, it's not a usual green christmas tree, it's silver. I'll post pictures tomorrow when we're done decorating.

In other news, we had our first snow fall the other day. Just two inches and the majority of it is gone now, but wanted to post a picture of the backyard. That's our sweet swing set. :)

Happy Day after Thanksgiving (or should I just say Happy Black Friday). Anyway, I loved the snow. It is beautiful. Hope the hip pain goes away soon. I found that sleeping with ten pillows around you helps take some of the pressure off as you spread. Have fun shopping!
