the house is nice...does need some updating but putty and paint hides what aint. our house was a mess and they did a complete update..it's amazing what can be done to a house. the fireplace is great...the kitchen can be totally kilz'd and painted and the house is very do-able. i would give a lower offer...the rugs have been cleaned so there was an obvious problem which will not be resoved until they are replaced. your dad said you can buy this barrier stuff for under the laminate flooring. let us know what's up...we are excited for ya's!
