We're now to week 5! Last week was pretty good for me. I missed 2 workouts because of the crazy weather travel week. But I exercised almost every day. I also am adding Hip Hop Abs to my workout routine. It's probably the most ridiculous workout video ever.
Also, I'm going to start planning and designing another workout plan to start after the eigth week of this plan. Throw me some ideas for what you would like to focus on. The idea for this one was to get everyone in the habit of working out by starting off slow with walking. So some ideas I was tossing around were focusing a month on abs, 5K training with the couch to 5K program, focus on pilates, etc. So, let me know what you guys would like.

Sun. Day Off
Mon. Cardio 30 min.
Tues. Interval walk 20 min.
Wed. Cardio 30 min.
Strength 30 min.
Thurs. 2 miles in 30 min.
Yoga 30 min.
Fri. 3 miles in 1 hr.
Sat. Day Off

I worked out about 3 times this week but ate McD's yesteraday so feeling a little bummy....I weigh on Tuesday so we'll see how it all goes:) I like what youre doing now but maybe after week 8 is mix it up with different focuses sounds like a good idea!
i think a month to month focus with the cardio is a great idae..is this too much for you to take on?? we don't want to pressure you, oh exercise guru!! but we are enjoying the accountablity and the focus...so thanks.
I only exercised five times this week (unless you want to count painting my office Saturday as exercise). It was a tough week though. I craved sweets and fast food this week and it was really a struggle to only eat sweets in moderation. I need suggestions to spice up my workout. Because I get home at 5:30 and have to cook supper and take care of the kids, it is a struggle some days to find the time to do any exercise. Don't suggest exercise in the morning- my body would be repulsed by the idea. Lost one pound! You guys have been so supportive and I appreciate the exercise schedule so much.
Well, I'll figure out something fun and motivating for the next workouts I plan. I don't mind posting these since I do this planning for myself anyways. Might as well share. Plus it keeps me motivated too.
when my kids were little i used have dinner started like in the crock pot or something i would make big on sunday that would last for leftovers and when rob came home would i hit the exercise..it became my hour of peace. he would finish up the dinner or set the table and then when i was done we would work on getting dinner pulled off...and go on with the evening. you could have the girls exercise with you...make it a family thing. or hit a gym 3x a week before you go home. that's why i exercise in the am before i am awake and my day begins...i can't do so in the evening...i'm just not able. now shannon does hers at lunchtime and that may work for you. congrats on the pound!!
